2005-2007:

„Creeping of bent wood in conditions of cyclical asymmetric changes of its moisture content”. Supervisor’s Grant 2 P06L 044 28 financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, main contractor, manager of project: prof. dr hab. Waldemar Moliński, A. Cieszkowski Agricultural University of Poznań.

The objective of this research project was to learn more about wood behaviour under bending load and, simultaneously, cyclically wetted and dried in different strain zones and to determine the impact of the period of the initiation of these changes on the value of complex deflections of the examined samples. In addition, the study made an attempt to determine the effect of the value of acting strains on the course of the wood deformation process in conditions of cyclic changes in the moisture content of different strain zone of bent samples. The aim of the experiments was also to determine the values of bending strains under which complex deformations of bent samples, in conditions of asymmetric changes in their moisture content, continue to maintain their linear function.

2007-2010:

„Variation of the microfibril angle in tangential walls of tracheids and the tensile strength of Pinus sylvestris L. wood along the grain in individual annual rings”. Own research project N N309 1693 33 financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, one of major contactors, manager of project: prof. dr hab. Waldemar Moliński, Poznań University of Life Sciences.
