COST Action FP0802 in cooperation with the Paper Mechanics Cluster at undefinedInnventia (formerly STFI-Packforsk) is pleased to announce the Workshop on single fiber testing and modeling to be held on November 4-5, 2009, at Innventia in Stockholm, Sweden.

The objective of the workshop is to collect knowledge and identify the state-of-the-art and future research directions in micromechanical testing and modeling of wood and pulp fibers as well as other natural fibres.

 

Scientific Program

The first day of the workshop will be dedicated to invited presentations from distinguished scientists in the field.

On the second day of the workshop short oral and poster presentations will be given covering research activities related to the topic of the workshop in all three working groups of the COST Action and in the Paper Mechanics Cluster. Plenty of time will be reserved for discussions.
