  • Enzymatic saccharification of glucans in biomass. Mechanisms of interaction between enzymes, biomass and water and the role of structural characteristics in native cellulose (in collaboration with Novozymes).

  • Wood-water interactions. Linking molecular level mechanisms with macroscopic wood performance (in collaboration with the Technical University of Denmark and the Danish Technological Institute).
